Together with the other specializations, we offer solid teaching and programs in theology, Bible studies and personal development. Here you will grow and gain experience with Jesus and, not least, become more secure in what you believe in.

Bible school is and should be social, educational and fun - but it should also make you stronger for what comes next. It is as important that you are left with knowledge and experience that you can use in the future.

In "Profeti" we discover and learn how God speaks to us. We practice and gain experience in a safe environment where it's OK to learn by going, and we learn and discuss how we – and the church in general – can use and manage the prophetic gift responsibly.

In 1 Cor 14, Paul says:

«Pursue love and desire spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy." We take Paul's encouragement seriously - at the same time training to do it responsibly.

In IMI we have a long experience of practicing the prophetic. Here you will meet many people who value listening to what God has for the individual - but doing so with humility and responsibility. At Acta, you become part of an environment where it is safe to learn by trying and become more confident in how God speaks today – because God definitely wants to speak to us!

We practice in class, together with experienced people in the IMI church, and at various events such as Impuls or Åpen himmel.

I «teamperioden» på vårsemesteret setter vi ut på en litt lengre tur for å erfare internasjonalt anerkjente profetiske miljø. Her får vi kjenne på kroppen en helt annen kultur, bidra med det vi kan, men også erfare hvor mye vi har å lære av mennesker fra helt andre steder.

Denne turen kan se forskjellig ut fra år til år, litt avhengig av lokale og globale forhold, men gjennomføres selvfølgelig alltid trygt med lokale samarbeidspartnere.
