Thomas was the leader of the Worship School from 2012 until 2020, before becoming our principal in 2020. Since 2001 he’s been a worship leader in different positions in youth ministry, IMI-church, IMPULS and lovsang.no, and he has been central to the development of worship within the IMI-movement. He has a bachelors degree in Theology from VID in Stavanger and is currently also working on a masters degree in organizational leadership at NTNU in Trondheim. Thomas also serves as Program Director of the Impuls Youth Movement.
He is married to Anne and together they have two children.
Solvår has previously been the managing director of Acta Bible School for 13 years, and is a part of the leadership-team of the IMI-movement. She has previously worked as a school teacher, and as a lecturer on creative presentation. In addition to being the educational manager, she is responsible for small groups and counseling for students. She teaches on relationship building, building culture and creative presentation. She is married to Norway’s most fit PE-teacher and together they are the parents of three daughters.
Johanne is our manager of administration with responsibly for the practical and administrative work of our School’s office. She makes sure everything keeps together. She is educated as a chef, social worker and has a one-year course of Deaconry. She has a wide range of work-experience including working in psychiatry ward, pre-school, and she has been staff on the Bible School in Hemsedal through several time periods.
Gry is the manager of studies at Acta and also works in IMI-church. She has studied Theology at Ansgarskolen in Kristiansand, and Christian Counseling in the US. She has worked at IMI-church and Acta since 2004. Gry is married to Øistein and they are the parents of two children and one grandchild.
Marian leads our group and focus on the subject of of prophecy. She is an author and a blogger, and likes to look out for God’s fingerprint in every day life. Marian has a work background from administration and several years as missionary in Spain. She also works in IMI-church as well a public communicator, is married to Thomas and they have 4 children.
Hanne Therese is a teacher at the School with focus on goodness, identity, healing and prophesy. She is a cand.theol. from School of Mission and Theology in Stavanger, and an ordained priest in the Norwegian Church. She is also currently studying towards a PhD with special subject in biblical healing. Hanne Therese is married to Geir and they have three children.
Ole Martin heads our subjects of Worship. On the side he is currently studying for his Masters degree in Theology – in exceptional speed. In the past he has worked as a substitute teacher, within public social services, and as a substitute Worship Pastor at IMI-church.
Randi is responsible for our international students. She has a broad work background from economy in bank- and oil companies, work with children and youth in elementary school and social work with single minors in asylum situations. Randi is married and has three grown up children.
Kåre works at Acta as a volunteer and he is educated as an agronomist. Kåre was the manager of IMI Book & Media (Christian Bookstore) in Stavanger for many years. Married to Kjellaug, and together they are the parents of two children and grandparents of five. He teaches about relationship building and bible studies.
Bjørn teaches at the School with focus on bible studies and Christian dogmatics.
Bjørn is a cand.theol. from School of Mission and Theology in Stavanger, and an ordained priest in the Norwegian Church. He has a four-year missionary-education from Fjellhaug in Oslo, and has studied Nordic at the University of Stavanger. Previously he has worked as a farmer, priest in the Army, Middle-School teacher, missionary (in Bolivia), social worker and pastor. He is also currently working on a PhD within the subject of Prophecy. Bjørn is married to Marit, and together they are the parents of four children. He is also the main leader HLT Stavanger.
Øistein is the Worship pastor in IMI-church and also teaches subjects like Worship, relationships and Spiritual Christianity at Acta. He is educated as a pastor from Ansgarskolen in Kristiansand. He has been a youth pastor in Arendal, worship pastor in New York, and a pastor in Bergen. Married to Gry and they have to children and one grand child.
